Today is the last day of my Linden Endowment for the Arts Artist-in-residence land grant. I have had the virtual land for 6 months and it has been a wonderful ride. I have been so happy to hear how people have floated around for hours and hours in the sumptuous, colorful, kaleidoscope-like environment of Ce n’est pas une peinture. Some people got dizzy. Others got ‘high.’ LOL Most said they wish it wouldn’t go away. That is so so very lovely to hear. I wanted to create a space that was was meditative and relaxing, vibrant and positive. I wanted a space that would make people smile. I wanted a visual feast for the senses. I believe I achieved all of that.
Thank you so so much for all of your support. Your friendship and love is what keeps me going.
I am ready to let the ‘prims’ fall where they may. Literally. LOL Tonight I will make them all physical and let them fall. I may do this alone or with friends.
It is time to say good-bye. I am ready to clear my mind and move on to new things. It is funny how an artwork or project like this takes up so much mental space.
