Rhizome is a botanical term to describe a plant's root structure and its multi-branched, interconnected, ever-growing system. It also takes on a philosophical meaning that represents a knowledge model, thriving on making connections and fostering ideas - avoiding rigid classifications and dichotomies. This three woman exhibition explores the process of aggregating and connecting discrete elements and concepts in the pursuit of sparking fresh ideas and visual forms, which in turn lead to new interpretations and discussions about the connecting elements while also exploring alternative approaches to art making.
